ROMEO & JULIET

Stage (2022)

“Her excitement and giddiness bring a certain warmth to the stage, and one cannot help but also fall in love with the couple, if not solely her.”

GIRL IN THE MACHINE

Stage (2021)

“Rizzo’s portrayal of a woman’s descent into madness is disturbing and effective. Never once does she overplay her hand. And, ultimately, poignant.”

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Stage (2021)

“What a brilliantly executed scuffle it is too, choreographed to get all the laughs, with Rizzo more than living up to the ‘though she be but little, she is fierce’ line.”

“Tina Rizzo’s Hermia is as fierce as they come, making it impossible to be disinterested while she is on stage.”

SHAPING DUST

Stage (2020)

“Tina Rizzo appears as Melissa, in a down-to-earth but complicated performance. Her energy brings light to a scene when she enters, something a play with this bleak(ish) subject matter really needs.”

Theatre Review: Staging Memory

“Sensitive, funny and hear-breaking, Shaping Dust is ensemble story-telling at its best.”

Steve Hudson, Actor, ArtsEd course director.

“As a daughter of a mother with Alzheimer’s the show is both resonant and moving and captures delicately the changing nature of relationships as memory fades and the solidly familiar starts to dissolve.”

Kate Maravan, Actor, Teacher, Writer @TheOldHousePlay.
